和紙混紡のポロニットを、天然藍で手染めしました。

藍染の“正解”って、実はすごく難しい。
発色、質感、合わせやすさ── このバランスで仕上がること、年に何度もあることじゃない。

軽やかで、でもどこか品のある色。
時間をかけて染めて、時間とともに育つニットです。

「和紙？」と思うかもしれません。
でもこの素材、通気性も吸湿性も抜群。
ざっくり編んでも、風が通る。
汗ばむ季節にも、さらっと着られる一枚。

“Washi Polo” – A Double-Name Collaboration with Rinascente A polo knit hand-dyed with natural indigo, blended with Japanese washi paper.

Getting indigo just right is no easy task. The tone, the texture, the versatility— This balance is rare, and not something we encounter often.

The color is light, yet quietly refined. Dyed slowly, with time and care. And like the wearer, it will evolve with time.

Washi paper in clothing? It may sound unexpected, but the fiber offers excellent breathability and moisture control. Despite its substantial weight, the open-knit structure allows air to pass through. Comfortable even in warmer seasons—easy to wear, easy to love.

This piece is the result of two distinct crafts crossing paths: Rinascente’s technical expertise in knitwear, and INDIGO CLASSIC’s quiet devotion to indigo.

Please note: Due to the nature of the dye, color may transfer through friction, sweat, or rain. We recommend washing separately in a laundry net, especially from light-colored garments.
